Bernardi-Conchiglia coat of arms

The image above is the Bernardi-Conchiglia family coat of arms (designed with invaluable contributions from IAGIForum).

Differently from trademarks and logos, coat of arms are characterised by their graphical elements (colours, shapes and layout): a coat of arms can be reproduced in many ways, possibly with quite different styles. This is not the case with trademarks and commercial logos, that usually have much more restrictive graphical constraints.

The Bernardi-Conchiglia coat of arms is a “Canting coat of arms”, because it reminds the viewer of the family member surnames (Bernardi most likely derives from “bear” and Conchiglia means “shell”, literally).
